What exactly makes you a Life Coach?

Aside from being professionally certified as one, my role is to actively listen to you and ask you thoughtful questions to elicit you having organic breakthrough moments. I’m here to hold you accountable throughout your process and ensure you feel understood and supported along the way.

What does coaching focus on?

Ultimately, it depends on what it is YOU want to focus on, with an emphasis on the present goals and future planning. We will focus on what you feel you’re missing in your life and how to concretely fulfill that so that you can live an authentic and purposeful life.

Is Life Coaching like therapy?

Therapy is very past-focused; it’s primarily to understand why you are the way you are. A therapist also asks probing questions, so there is that in common, however coaches are forward-focused. Come as you are and instead of digging into the WHY, we’ll delve into the HOW to move forward, using concrete tools.

Who hires a life coach?

Is it just business executives, managers and CEOs? Absolutely not! Anyone can hire a life coach - as long as you have a goal and want to find concrete strategies to achieve those goals, you’re a candidate. 

How long do people usually commit for?

The minimum commitment is 3 months for optimal coaching benefits with measurable results. That said, it is possible to commit for longer or continue to have monthly check-ins beyond the predetermined time.

Can a self-help book accomplish the same thing?

Self-help books can be very useful and even enlightening, however they do not provide the accountability piece in your growth or change. Having me present to support you consistently and strategically aim to integrate these tools in your life is really where the magic happens in long-term transformation.
